The Netherlands and Slovenia are the last two teams to qualify for the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2025. Now all 16 teams are set for the final round in Zurich, Switzerland from 29th April — 4th May 2025, so the match schedule is updated.

The Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2025 EUR2 Qualifications were held in Latisana, Italy from 29th January — 2nd February as six teams battled it out for the two spots in the final round. The Netherlands won all their five matches (3-2 against Ukraine, 4-2 against Slovenia, 2-1 against Austria, 8-3 against Italy and 9-4 against Great Britain). They secured their spot in the final round on Saturday in the evening match against the hosts Italy as they got their fourth win in the event. The team also made history as they became the first Dutch Men’s or Men’s U19 team to qualify for the WFC.

Slovenia secured their spot on the final day as the last match of the event decided it all. Slovenia started their event by winning 7-4 against Austria but they lost 4-2 against the Netherlands on the following day. They continued their journey towards the final round ticket by beating Great Britain 9-2 but got a draw against Ukraine. Going to the final match of the event, Slovenia knew that they had to win by two or more goals against Italy so they could secure their spot in the U19 WFC. Final score 9-3 shows that they did a bit more than that.

This means that all the teams that will take part in the World Championships in Switzerland this spring have now been decided. Therefore, the match schedule has been updated.
