Which teams will meet in the group stage of the U19 World Championships 2025 in Zurich? We will find out on October 19th, when the group draw is held at the Swiss Life Arena in Zurich at 17:30 CET.

14 out of 16 teams have qualified for the U19 World Championships from 29.4.-4.5. in Zurich. The last two places will be awarded at the qualifying tournament at the end of January/beginning of February 2025. At the World Championships next spring, the group games will be played in the Saalsporthalle and the Hardau, while the final games will be held in the Swiss Life Arena, which is why the draw will take place in the ice arena.

Prior to the ice hockey match between the ZSC Lions and EV Zug, the group draw will be held in the room “Sulo” at 17:30 CET. The 16 nations will be divided into four pots based on their ranking and then drawn into the four groups by the Central President of swiss unihockey, Daniel Bareiss, and the President of the International Floorball Federation IFF, Tomas Eriksson.

The draw will be in English and can be followed on the IFF app.

The match schedule will then be drawn up and published by the end of October. Tickets will go on sale immediately after the draw. Be there live when the “Stars of tomorrow” fight for the World Championship title.
